Self Reliance - A Principle Taught Since The Begining
Self Reliance isn't just about being financially independent as many think (it is part of it, but there is much more). Self Reliance is a mindset, an internal culture within us that puts us on a path to perpetuate a 'Celestial Cycle of Self Reliance'. When we become self reliant Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally, Socially, Financially, and Physically - we WILL be driven to help others achieve Self Reliance in these areas as well, thus the 'Cycle'! It is what Christ did when we was here and has taught us to strive to do.
This website is a resource for YOU to help develop that internal culture of Self Reliance in yourself and within your family, then to others you come in contact with as you feel prompted to help and share this wonderful initiative with.
Classes & Schedules
This page has information on all classes and the schedule of classes going on throughout the units within the Kansas City stake, the facilitators info for those classes, where and when they are being held and their duration. Our goal in this is to enable all wards in the KC Stake to have their own schedule of classes and Saints can opt to take a class that fits their lives no matter what ward they are in. The Stake still oversees all classes but they are initiated by the ward with Stake support.
